Story
Cusco is known for being home to Machu Picchu, and is world-famous for the mystique of its small town and its people. But the coffee produced in this region is also noteworthy. Because of the mountain ecosystem, climate, altitude and rich soil near the Amazon, the coffee that grows here has all the qualities to be great.

Cedrobamba is located in the rural area of Choquetilla in the Incahuasi district of the Convention State. At 2,000 meters above sea level, the undulating terrain is suitable for growing specialty coffees due to its height and rich soil. But adapting to this geography has also been a challenge for the community. Still, with the satisfaction of training and seeing their work recognized, they are committed to continuing to grow high-quality coffee year after year.

About the origin of the name Cedro Bamba, "Bamba" means "flat" in Quechua, but it came to be called so because many "Cedro" trees grew on the flat area.

The producers of this lot are eco-friendly, grow organically using sustainable techniques, and cherish local customs rooted in the Andean culture, such as 'Aini' and 'Yarca Aspi'. have cultivated. Aini represents mutual aid and reciprocity that arises when cultivating the land. When someone needs help with the coffee harvest, they don't have to pay the helper, and other families in the same community can help without asking for anything in return. Then, when other families in the area need help, they in turn reach out. Yarka aspi is also a fun practice for locals to secure water supply for their farmlands by cleaning ditches. In this way, this coffee, in addition to its excellent characteristics, is cultivated in harmony with the cooperation of the whole community.
